Spectrum has been named the Holmes Report 2016 Healthcare Agency of the Year, an honor that comes as our agency celebrates its 20th anniversary. I could not be more proud to lead this talented team and to partner with our clients, all of whom share in this awesome recognition. For us, it’s confirmation that Spectrum’s unique business approach is working – our clients know it, our veteran and newly hired team members know it, and now the industry does as well.

Our independent agency has grown tremendously in the last two years – we’ve opened offices in New York and Atlanta, won significant new business, and welcomed some of the PR industry’s most respected senior communications counselors to make their home at Spectrum. The “One Spectrum” ideology drives the agency’s culture, bringing together the best talent and expertise regardless of geography to deliver the best thinking for clients. We operate as one firm across all offices, sharing teams and resources, with a single P&L.

For me, the Healthcare Agency of the Year award reflects Spectrum’s successes of the last two years, the last 20 years, but also what we’re building for the future. Our “Spectrum 20/20” vision is to attract and retain talent, creating strong relationships with each other and long-term partnerships with our clients. With integrated teams of smart, happy people, we bring Spectrum’s value proposition to life: a strategy-first philosophy, using science and storytelling to create game-changing conversations.

Spectrum founder John Seng believed an independent PR agency focused exclusively on healthcare was the ideal formula for a rewarding career and success for clients. Fast forward 20 years and John’s vision for Spectrum is more relevant than ever. Our agency remains a place where people with a passion for health and science communications thrive, doing exceptional work on behalf of some of the world’s leading healthcare and consumer products firms. Spectrum is the 2016 Healthcare Agency of the Year and the agency of the future, poised to meet the evolving strategic communications needs of top health and science brands.
