John Seng Elected to Council of Public Relations Firms 2008 Board of Directors

NEW YORK (November 8, 2007) - The Council of Public Relations Firms, the industry’s trade association, announced today the election of its new officers and directors. John Seng, founder and president of Spectrum Science Communications, was elected to the Board of Directors.

“I am truly honored and humbled to be join such a prestigious group of public relations professionals,” Seng said. “I look forward to serving the Council and the public relations community as we negotiate and at the same time help shape organized communications to help benefit society and our clients.”

As a board member, Seng will help the Council build and define the market for public relations and help its members meet the needs of an increasingly dynamic and complex marketplace.

The other elected board members, who are all principals or CEOs of their own firms, are: Mark Hass (Manning Selvage & Lee), Lou Hoffman (The Hoffman Agency), Jim Terman (Jasculca/Terman and Associates) and Otis Wragg (Wragg & Casas Public Relations). The new chair of the board of director is Ray Kotcher, CEO of Ketchum.
