Re-branding and Awareness
Lung Cancer Alliance
Lung cancer causes more deaths in the United States than any other cancer. More than 60% of new lung cancers are diagnosed in people who never smoked or who managed to quit smoking even decades ago.
The Lung Cancer Alliance, the only national non-profit organization dedicated solely to advocating for people living with lung cancer or at risk for the disease, asked Spectrum to assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive, integrated communications campaign that aims to make fighting lung cancer a priority for more people and change public perception about the disease.
As part of an integrated campaign, the Lung Cancer Alliance Web site was developed as the definitive source for information about lung cancer, treatments, living with the disease, lung cancer related news, and advocacy information. In one month, the Web site received more than 13,000 unique visitors, 28,000 site visits overall and the e-commerce system has generated thousands of dollars in new revenue.
