Mary Ellen HackettAccount Director
Mary Ellen Hackett offers more than 20 years experience in healthcare communications, as a journalist and as an adviser to health-related organizations and enterprises.
She has led digital and traditional media campaigns, advocacy outreach and public education campaigns in the areas of cardiology, oncology, child behavioral disorders, infertility and Alzheimer’s disease. Mary Ellen has directed communications programs in higher education and health system settings, and covered the news as a medical writer and wire service reporter.
Mary Ellen received her BA in journalism from the University of Maine, and her MS in communications management from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University.
