Pamela Lippincott, a 15‐year public relations veteran, serves as one of Spectrum’s senior health communications counselors. She has led her clients in the development and implementation of major education, product launch and branding initiatives, as well as pipeline and product communications. Most notably, Pamela was responsible for the promotion of the Tour of Hope, a national multi‐year comprehensive communications campaign aimed at raising public awareness of the importance of cancer research.

Pamela offers extensive experience working in the categories of diabetes, CVD and stroke, rare diseases, oncology (lung and breast), urology and more. She led communications efforts for a multi‐year awareness campaign with the American Diabetes Association titled Make the Link! Diabetes, Heart Disease and Stroke. Pamela also spearheaded a national media outreach effort launching a first‐ever heart failure drug indicated for African Americans, called BiDil.

Today, Pamela continues to drive strategy behind Spectrum’s major media and program initiatives. She also works extensively in advocacy and physician audience relations, including membership retention and press program management for professional societies and their medical meetings, such as the American College of Cardiology and the American Association for Cancer Research.

Pamela is an elected member of PRSA’s Health Academy Executive Committee. She received her B.S. degree in public relations from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
