Momentum in Motion: Spectrum Named to the MM+M Agency 100

So, when MM+M introduced a video game theme for this year’s Agency 100 listing, we knew we wanted to create a concept that reflected the way we operate in today’s health and life sciences landscape. 

Our creative entry, Momentum Uprising: Moco vs Hoco, (momentum company vs. holding company) is a fictional game built around a very real idea. In a market shaped by complexity, consolidation, and constant change, momentum beats scale.

And that idea is not theoretical. In 2025, Spectrum’s revenue grew 12 percent, climbing to $86 million, as the agency continued to refine its integrated operating model and focus on purposeful growth. For Amy Hutnik, President and Chief Commercial Officer, one moment last year stood out above the rest. After a period of rapid expansion that included seven acquisitions in four years, Spectrum undertook a rebrand to unify how it shows up in the market, bringing its capabilities, people, and identity under one name. 

“Even though we’ve been working in a seamless way for many years, all of a sudden, there was a moment where we’re all finally wearing the same jersey.” Hutnik says. “It was such a celebration of the integrated work we’ve done, and I love being able to show up in the marketplace with one name.” 

That unified approach to delivering work as one team is baked into how Spectrum shows up for clients. Jill Beene, president of advertising and consulting, describes momentum as the result of looking beyond any single discipline. 

“We’re not just thinking about advertising,” Beene says. “We’re thinking about all the dimensions of clinical, developmental, and commercial success for a brand.” It’s this cross-functional thinking that creates alignment from the start and a natural roadmap of unstoppable momentum for our clients.”
