LinkedIn shares tips on Thought Leader ads

LinkedIn recently shared best practices for using Thought Leader Ads, a format that allows brands to amplify content from employees, customers, partners, and other trusted voices. Why it matters: As audiences increasingly seek credible, human perspectives, Thought Leader Ads provide an important opportunity to elevate personal content and trusted industry voices. Why it matters: Among the features highlighted for paid subscribers is access to clickable links in posts and Reels, a capability that has historically been unavailable on Instagram, but unrestricted on Facebook. Under the Meta One structure, link functionality becomes a premium feature rather than a standard platform capability. For pharma and biotech companies specifically, the change means driving traffic to disease education sites, HCP resources, patient support programs, and corporate properties may increasingly depend on paid platform features rather than organic capabilities alone.
